The School of Engineering organized a "Biotechnology Workshop" for secondary school teachers, who had the opportunity to conduct experiments that allowed them to become familiar with the most commonly used techniques in the fields of biotechnology and molecular biology. This activity included working with enzymes that play a role in our daily lives. The experience gained could be replicated by the teachers in the classroom. The workshop was held in two sessions of three hours each on Wednesday, August 22 and 29, 2012, in the faculty’s Biotechnology Laboratory.
