September 21, 2017
On September 19, 2017, the lecture “Bitcoin and AlgoTrade: New Opportunities in the Market” was held at the Downtown Campus, presented by Dan Mitelman, co-founder of the Punta Capital investment fund. The event was organized by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE).

Punta Capital, founded in late 2016, is an investment fund that trades cryptocurrencies and their derivatives. Most of its transactions are automated through the use of trading bots—algorithms that employ financial prediction models, statistical analysis, and artificial intelligence to execute trades on existing markets and web platforms.

Mitelman holds a bachelor’s degree in economics. He previously worked as a consultant at PwC and as a revenue analyst at Playtech.
