BlackBerry® Scholars programme Canada

This program aims to promote women's participation in ICTs.

The BlackBerry® Scholars programme a four-year global scholarship program designed for female students entering their first year of higher education in 2014 (in Uruguay, in March 2014) at a recognized university in their country.

This program was created to encourage women's participation in the information technology industry, particularly among female students with an interest in and/or aptitude for mobile computing.

At Universidad ORT Uruguay can apply for the following degree programs:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems(4 years)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering(4 years)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications(4 years)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics(4 years)
  • Systems Engineering(5 years)
  • Telecommunications Engineering(5 years)
  • Electrical Engineering(5 years)

Students interested in this scholarship must apply by 4:00 p.m. on June 26, 2013.
