Call for Innovative Biotechnology-Based Ideas and Projects

The KHEM Business Incubator, part of the Pando Technology Institute (IPTP), is seeking innovative biotechnology-based ideas and projects.

Call for Applications: KHEM IncubatorThe incubator aims to support the growth of technology-based companies that develop innovative products and/or services with economic potential in both domestic and international markets.

The ideas submitted must be relevant to the areas of innovation and development at the Pando Technology Institute, which include: food and nutrition, nanotechnology, bioanalytics, biopharmacy and pharmaceutical technology, fine chemicals, renewable energy, environmental analysis, and biotechnology.

First, the projects will undergo a preliminary selection process; then, the selected projects will receive training in the management of technology-based companies, during which they will develop a proposal that will be evaluated.

Proposals that receive a positive evaluation will have the opportunity to join Khem’s incubation program and will receive the following benefits:

  • Laboratory spaces with basic equipment
  • Fully equipped office spaces, meeting rooms, video conferencing, and internet access.

  • Assessment of the Startup's Status
  • State-of-the-art review 
  • Legal Consulting
  • A technical mentor and a business mentor 
  • Business Plan Development Consultant
  • Access to consulting services on specific topics
  • Networking 
  • Training
  • Workshops
  • Financial support: opportunity to apply for funding from the National Agency for Research and Innovation (USD 25,000)
