Professor Receives the Special Doctoral Award from the Polytechnic University of Madrid

The doctoral dissertation of the professor of Analog Electronics and Automatic Control was awarded the 2016–2017 Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award.

Dr. André Fonseca, a professor of Analog Electronics and Automatic Control at the School of Engineering and holder of a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology for Smart Cities from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), was awarded the UPM’s 2016–2017 Special Doctoral Prize in December 2018 for his doctoral dissertation.

The thesis, titled “Error Propagation in Quantum Circuits and Isotropy,” was defended at the UPM in April 2017, where it received a grade of “A.”
