Dr. Norma Pontet, academic coordinator of the graduate programs in finance and professor of managerial accounting in the School of Business and Social Sciences, was appointed on March 23, 2020, as chair of the Inter-American Technical Commission on Accounting Research of the Inter-American Accounting Association (AIC) for the 2019–2021 term.
