University Closure for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur

The holidays of Rosh Hashanah (literally, "Head of the Year") and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) make up what is known as the Yamim Noraim (High Holy Days).
University Closure for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur

Rosh Hashanah

The start of the Jewish New Year 5786 will be celebrated beginning Monday, September 22, and will last for 48 hours. On Monday, the university will close at 6:00 p.m. and will reopen as usual on Thursday, September 25.

Yom Kippur

In observance of Yom Kippur, the university will close on Wednesday, October 1, at 6:00 p.m. and remain closed all day on Thursday, October 2. It will reopen as usual on Friday, October 3.
