With the aim of producing their series

Graduates of the Bachelor's Degree in Animation and Video Games won the MIEM audiovisual competition and are now set to produce their first animated series.

The animation studio Triánima, founded by Florencia Guerra, Georgine Herbig, and Natasha Katz—all graduates of the Bachelor’s program in Animation and Video Games at Universidad ORT Uruguay—will begin production on its first animated series in early 2020 after winning the 2019 Audiovisual Call for Proposals issued by the National Directorate of Telecommunications and Audiovisual Communication Services of the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Mining (MIEM).

His animated series project centers on Eliza, Nancy, and Nicolás, three young monsters who have reached the most turbulent stage of their lives: puberty. The characters will navigate this strange transition from children to teenagers, coping with all kinds of physical and emotional changes in a context where they are partially invisible due to their age and status as supernatural beings. The series aims to reflect Uruguayan and River Plate identity through the customs, traditions, landscapes, and folklore that characterize our country.

Triánima is a Uruguayan production company that specializes in creating custom audiovisual and graphic solutions. It was selected by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Universidad ORT Uruguay receive support and guidance in launching its business model.
