On Monday, June 15, 2015, Mechanical Engineer Daniel Pryjma will give a presentation on the Mathematica program.

The conference, which will take place in the Centro Auditorium from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., will provide an overview of key aspects of teaching and learning, and will feature case studies and best practices for integrating courses.

Topics include how to make the classroom more dynamic through interactive models, computer labs, and visualization tools that can be used to teach virtually any subject at any level.

Daniel Pryjma holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná in Brazil and a Master’s degree in Business and Technology from Tampere University of Technology in Finland. For the past five years, he has served as an International Business Development Executive at Wolfram Research, where he has been responsible for translating all of the company’s materials into Portuguese. He has also been giving presentations and promoting Mathematica for several years.

Admission is free and the event is open to students, teachers, and researchers.
