"Google Technology User Group (GTUG) Uruguay Chapter" Conference

On March 24, the "Google Technology User Group ( GTUG) Uruguay Chapter" conference took place in the Central Seminar Room, led by Gabriel Kouyoumdjian and Engineer Gabriel Olivera. The event was organized by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE).

On March 24, the "Google Technology User Group ( GTUG) Uruguay Chapter" conference took place in the Central Seminar Room, led by Gabriel Kouyoumdjian and Gabriel Olivera, Ph.D. The event was organized by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE).

Google technologies for developers cover a wide range. Notable examples include the Android and App Engine platforms, product APIs (such as the Google Maps API and YouTube API), and open-source projects (such as those supporting the Chrome OS operating system, the Chrome browser, OpenSocial for creating social applications, and the GO programming language). GTUGs are open, non-profit user groups interested in Google technologies for developers.

Gabriel Kouyoumdjian is Co-Director of the startup XurLabs . He is the founder and leader of UY-GTUG. He has extensive experience in developing IT projects for companies such as Abitab, Banca de Quinielas, and Sabre Holdings. He works as a Senior Analyst at MEVIR. He is an advanced student in the Systems Engineering program.

Gabriel Olivera, M.Eng., is a Programming instructor in the School of Engineering. He has developed IT projects for national and international companies. He is Co-Director of the startup XurLabs and serves as a project leader at Sabre Holdings.
