Guillermo Langwagen, Academic Coordinator of the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering programs, participated on June 1, 2012, in a panel discussion on technological development as part of the “Subregional Seminar on Digital Television and the Digital Dividend.” The event, which took place at the Telecommunications Tower, was organized by theITU(International Telecommunication Union) andURSEC(Regulatory Unit for Communications Services).
Also participating in the panel were Álvaro Pardo, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the Catholic University; Luis Piaggio, professor in the Telematics Engineering program at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Montevideo; and María Simon, professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of the Republic.
