The purpose of the panel was to explore the importance of ethics in professional practice, highlight the commonalities between its application in professional practice and research, and analyze ongoing initiatives related to this topic.
Roldán participated in this conference in her capacity as vice president of the Society of Economists of Uruguay and as an affiliate of Universidad ORT Uruguay.
The panel also included Cecilia Dassatti (moderator), an analyst with the Economic Research Department of the Central Bank of Uruguay; Barbara Mainzer, CFA, executive director of the Association of Private Banks of Uruguay (speaker); and Agustín Reyes, assistant professor at the School of Economics and Business Administration of the University of the Republic (speaker).
The event, organized by the Central Bank of Uruguay, took place from August 20 to 22, 2023, in Montevideo.
