ORACLE Project: Progress Report
The second coordination meeting of the ORACLE Project was held from April 9 to 11, 2018, at the University of Talca in Santiago, Chile.
Andrea Tejera, M.A., coordinator of the Master's Program in Educational Management, represented Universidad ORT Uruguay.
According to his explanation, the participating universities reported on the activities carried out in 2017 as part of the project. They also refined their plans for the remaining tasks scheduled for 2018.
At the same time, four subgroups were formed with the aim of designing a publication that “addresses the methodological aspects related to the assessment, as well as various proposals for improving inclusion and equity in higher education.”
The next meeting will take place in Panama in July 2018.
10 Years of RedAGE
Tejera also attended the General Assembly of the InternationalNetwork for Educational Management Support (RedAGE), which took place on April 11, 2018. At the meeting, the resolutions and commitments for 2018 were approved.
Joaquín Gairín—visiting professor at the Institute of Education and president of RedAGE International—presented the Executive Committee’s report. Meanwhile, members from more than 10 countries worked together in their respective committees.
On April 12, Tejera participated in the international conference “School Management in Ibero-America: Progress and Challenges.” The event was organized by RedAGE as part of its 10th-anniversary celebrations. International experts analyzed the state of research and training in the field of educational management in Ibero-America.
Both events took place at the University of Talca in Santiago, Chile.
