The awards ceremony, which will take place in September 2023 and is organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture, aims to recognize the work of Uruguayan writers.
Andrea Tejera Techera holds a Ph.D. in Education from the National University of Entre Ríos (Argentina). She has a Master’s degree in Regional and Local Development from the Catholic University of Uruguay and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of the Republic (Uruguay).
She currently serves as academic coordinator for the Master’s in Educational Management and theMaster’s in Teacher Training, and is a professor, researcher, and graduate advisor at the Institute of Education at Universidad ORT Uruguay.
In addition to being a researcher at the Entry Level in the Social Sciences field, specifically the Educational Sciences subfield, ofthe National System of Researchers(SNI), she serves as director of the Strategic Planning and Budgeting Division atthe Uruguayan Institute for Children and Adolescents(INAU).
