In particular, the coordinators at the ORT Institute of Education will be advising the ReachingU Foundation on the selection of projects submitted to its annual call for proposals, which will ultimately receive financial and technical support in 2025.
Andrea Tejera Techera holds a Ph.D. in Education from the National University of Entre Ríos (Argentina). She has a Master’s degree in Regional and Local Development from the Catholic University of Uruguay and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of the Republic (Uruguay).
She currently serves as the academic coordinator for the Master’s in Educational Management and the Master’s in Teacher Training, as well as a professor, researcher, and graduate advisor at the Institute of Education at Universidad ORT Uruguay.
In addition to being a researcher at the Entry Level in the Social Sciences field, specifically the Education Sciences subfield, of the National System of Researchers (SNI), she serves as director of the Strategic Planning and Budgeting Division at the Uruguayan Institute for Children and Adolescents (INAU).
Mariela Questa-Torterolo holds a Ph.D. in Education from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain). She has a Master’s degree in Educational Management from the Universidad ORT Uruguay a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Universidad de la República (Uruguay).
Today, in addition to teaching graduate courses, she serves as the associate academic coordinator for the Master’s in Educational Management and the Master’s in Trainer Development at the Institute of Education at Universidad ORT Uruguay.
She is also a Level I researcher in the Social Sciences category, under the subcategory of Education Sciences, within the National System of Researchers (SNI).
