Since its very first issue, the journal has borne witness to the commitment and passion of those dedicated to the pursuit and advancement of knowledge. It has built bridges between theory and practice, between researchers and decision-makers, and between the past and the future of education.
As we mark this milestone—the 40th issue of *Cuadernos de Investigación Educativa* and more than 20 years of tireless work—it is time to reflect on the journey we have taken. It is also a time to celebrate the achievements of Universidad ORT Uruguay first peer-reviewed academic journal and to renew our commitment to remaining a source of inspiration for the researchers of tomorrow.
