Course on Advances in Nanotechnology, sponsored by ANII

August 1, 2016
The National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) is supporting the course “Advances in Nanotechnology: Biomolecular Engineering, Computational Methods, and Colloidal Science: State of the Art and Applications,” which will take place from August 15 to 19, 2016, at the School of Engineering.

The course will feature professors Rein Ulijn, Raymond Tu, Gustavo López, and Ilona Kretchmar, faculty members at the City University of New York (CUNY) and experts in various aspects of nanoscience.

This event is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students, as well as professionals in the sciences who are interested in nanotechnology. It is organized by Dr. Lorena Betancor, a professor and researcher in the faculty’s Department of Biotechnology.

Prof. Rein Uljin is Director of Nanoscience at the CUNY Center for Advanced Science Research; Prof. Kretzschmar is a full professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering; Prof. Gustavo López is a full professor of Physical Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry; and Prof. Raymond Tu is an associate professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering.
