The program is sponsored by the Agency for the Development of E-Government and the Information and Knowledge Society (AGESIC), the Julio Ricaldoni Foundation (FJR), the School of Engineering at the University of the Republic, and the School of Engineering at Universidad ORT Uruguay, with support from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
This program aims to make cybersecurity knowledge accessible to anyone interested in the subject, as well as to enhance the capabilities and quality of the resources available in this field.
Scholarships from the School of Engineering at Universidad ORT Uruguay
- Consider the one-year Specialization Diploma in Cybersecurity.
- Up to eight scholarships will be awarded, each covering 60% of the costs.
Application
Interested parties should apply using the form available on the Ricaldoni Foundation’s website:
. Along with the form, they must attach:
- Letter of interest and commitment (relevance and contribution of the specialization/graduate program to your professional development).
- Resume / diplomas / certifications. (Academic and professional background with an emphasis on cybersecurity-related topics).
- A letter from the company or organization where you work, if applicable (explaining how this specialization contributes to your job).
At the same time, applicants must register with the appropriate school in accordance with each school’s admission requirements.

- The deadline to apply for this first edition is Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.
