Recruiting Day is an event dedicated exclusively to topics related to recruitment, talent acquisition, and retention, with a practical focus. It was held in person, with limited capacity, at the Antel Telecommunications Tower.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice President of the Republic, Beatriz Argimón, the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Dr. Pablo Mieres, and the National Director of Labor, Dr. Federico Daverede.
This is an initiative by CREAR Comunicación, in partnership with ExpoEmpleo, Empleo Soñado, and the Uruguayan Society of Human Resource Management.
During the morning, the event was geared toward human resources teams from various companies, featuring lectures and panel discussions with renowned professionals from the region.
In the afternoon, the Recruiting Open Day was open to young people (primarily college students or professionals) looking for work, giving them the opportunity to meet with the various companies that had set up booths. They were also able to attend free talks led by the organizations’ recruitment teams.
