Dr. Denise Vaillant, dean of the Institute of Education at Universidad ORT Uruguay, was invited to join the Board of Directors of the Natura Institute, a group dedicated to improving public education in Latin American countries.

The Board of Directors currently has members, including the three founders of Natura: Luiz Seabra, Guilherme Leal, and Pedro Passos. It also includes João Paulo Ferreira, president of Natura&Co Latin America; Diego de Leone, vice president of Natura Hispanic America; and Pedro Villares, chairman of the board. Finally, the board includes two education specialists: Denis Mizne, executive director of the Lemann Foundation, and Ricardo Henriques, executive director of Instituto Unibanco.

The Natura Institute was founded in 2010 with the goal of transforming education in Brazil by ensuring quality learning for children and young people. Ten years later, that mission began to spread throughout Latin America.
