"Unknown" is a short film by Nicolás Medina, a senior in the Bachelor of Arts in Communication program with a concentration in Audiovisual Studies.
Previously, the short film won awards at the National Student Film Festival (Fenacies), where it took home the prize for Best University Fiction Short Film and received the Fenacies Gold Award for Best Short Film of the festival. It also won the Audience Award for Best Uruguayan Short Film at the Montevideo Fantástico Festival. The award ceremonies took place on September 10, 2023, at the Sodre Nelly Goitiño Auditorium and the Camacuá Hall, respectively.
