Ten Keys to Change

September 7, 2018
Denise Vaillant and Carlos Marcelo published the book *Toward a Disruptive Approach to Teacher Education: 10 Keys to Change*.

“In both initial and continuing education, cultural, curricular, organizational, and practical approaches continue to be applied that, while they may have worked at one time, are no longer relevant today,” stated Dr. Denise Vaillant and Dr. Carlos Marcelo in their new book titled Toward Disruptive Teacher Training: 10 Keys to Change.

Vaillant—who currently serves as academic secretary of the Institute of Education—along with Marcelo—a professor of Educational Pedagogy and Organization at the University of Seville—highlighted inspiring examples to help envision a different educational system and explained why training is the “best solution” to today’s educational challenges.

Furthermore, throughout the book, they demonstrated the importance of rethinking training, as well as the need to incorporate disruptive and innovative approaches.

*Toward Disruptive Teacher Training: 10 Keys to Change* was published in Madrid by Narcea in 2018.
