Dr. Le Fort is the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) representing Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.
He also taught Monetary Theory and Policy at the University of Chile and served as director of research at the Central Bank of Chile.
The conference was organized by ORT' s Department of Economics and was aimed at ORT faculty, students, and alumni.
