An ORT teacher was re-elected vice president of the IASI

Prof. Orual Andina, a professor of Probability and Statistics in the School of Engineering, has been reelected vice president of the Inter-American Institute of Statistics (IASI) through January 2006.

The Inter-American Institute of Statistics (IASI) was founded on May 12, 1940, and is responsible for implementing a series of high-impact projects aimed at advancing statistical development in the countries of the Western Hemisphere.

In addition to serving as executive director of IASI, Prof. Ondina is a consultant to the United Nations.
