A professor from the Pratt Institute gave a lecture titled "Graphics in Motion"

On July 9, the lecture "Graphics in Motion" was held at the Centro Auditorium, presented by Prof. Ed Darino, a faculty member in the Department of Digital Arts at the Pratt Institute in the United States.

The speaker holds a degree in Film & TV from New York University. He has created branding designs for HBO, The Weather Channel, Galavisión, Antenne 2, Telemundo, Tele12, Monte Carlo, and El Gallito Luis, among others.

He edited more than 500 trailers for Hollywood Blockbuster and the series *El Gran Estreno* for RTVE. He was involved in the production and direction of the series *Salvar la Tierra* and *Ciencia 2000*.

He is internationally recognized as an innovator in computer animation through the use of new technologies. He has explored particle animation based on the fundamental building block of digital language: the pixel.

During the event, he presented the evolution of animated graphics in broadcasting—from pixel art to vector graphics—and showcased work from the Pratt Institute on animation research based on visual poetry.

He discussed topics such as "pushing the envelope," as well as binary code and pixel art.
