Professor led a seminar in Spain

Dr. Lorena Betancor, a professor and researcher in biotechnology, gave a seminar and attended research meetings at the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the CSIC (Spanish National Research Council) in Madrid, Spain.

Dr. Lorena Betancor, a professor and researcher in biotechnology, gave a seminar and attended research meetings at the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the CSIC (Spanish National Research Council) in Madrid, Spain.

The seminar was held as part of the project “Biodiesel Production Using Immobilized Lipases,” funded by the National Agency for Innovation and Research (ANII), for which Betancor is the principal investigator.

The activities took place from June 12 to 19, 2015, and were hosted by Professor José Manuel Guisán of the same institute, who serves as the project advisor.
