Hernán Bonilla, an economics professor specializing in Uruguayan economics and society at the School of Business and Social Sciences, will serve as Macroeconomic Advisor to the Ministry of Economy and Finance during the next administration, which begins in March 2020. This is the third-highest-ranking position in the ministry.
Mr. Bonilla is currently the director of the think tank at the Center for Development Studies (CED).
