A professor spoke at a series of lectures organized by the Uruguayan Chamber of Advertisers

Dr. Gabriel Oddone, a professor of Economic Policy in the School of Management and Social Sciences, gave a lecture titled “Uruguay’s Economy in 2009: Between External Threats and the Long Election Cycle” as part of the lecture series “Global Economic Uncertainty and Its Impact on the Consumer Market.”

The event, organized by the Uruguayan Chamber of Advertisers, took place on July 2 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel.

Dr. Gabriel Oddone, a professor of Economic Policy in the School of Management and Social Sciences, spoke on “Uruguay’s Economy in 2009: Between External Threats and the Long Election Cycle” as part of the lecture series “Global Economic Uncertainty and Its Impact on the Consumer Market.” The event, organized by the Uruguayan Chamber of Advertisers, took place on July 2 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel.

Dr. Oddone holds a Ph.D. in Economic History from the University of Barcelona and is an economist. He is a partner at CPA - Ferrere; Deputy Director of the Center for Economic Research (CINVE); and Economic and Financial Advisor to the Montevideo Stock Exchange.
