A professor was selected as the international editor of a book on immigrant communities

Dr. Lourdes Cardozo Gaibisso, a graduate-level instructor at the Institute of Education and the principal investigator for the Smart Data project, has been selected to edit a book scheduled for publication in June 2020.

Dr. Lourdes Cardozo Gaibisso, a graduate-level instructor at the Institute of Education and the principal investigator for the Smart Data project, was selected by IGI Global—along with Dr. Max Vázquez Domínguez, a professor at the University of North Georgia—to edit a book scheduled for publication in June 2020, titled *Advancing Language Equity Practices With Immigrant Communities: Learning in and out of Schools*.

This resource is intended for researchers, educators, and students in the field of education and will provide research-based recommendations for improving teaching and learning in immigrant communities.
