Maximiliano Izzi, Ph.D., who teaches "Entrepreneurship 1 and 2" and "Ergonomics" in the School of Architecture and "Industrial Design and Ergonomics" in the School of Communication and Design, participated in the exhibition "Uruguay, a natural collective" at the London Interior Design Fair Designjunction alongside nine designers from our country. The event took place in London from September 20 to 23, 2018.
The Uruguayan exhibition featured a collection of furniture created exclusively from natural materials using traditional techniques, exploring different perspectives on design in our country.
CLARO, Menini-Nicola, Estudio Diario, Carolina Palombo Píriz, Rafael Antía, Sámago, Estudio Tosca, Izzi Design, and Muar were the stars of this edition, marking the third consecutive year that Uruguayan design has been featured at this major event.
This design exhibition, made possible thanks to the support of the Uruguayan Embassy in London and organized by the Uruguayan Chamber of Design (CDU) and Uruguay XXI, aimed to secure our country’s permanent place on the global design stage.
