As part of the 2002 JIAP conference, held from August 14 to 16 at Montevideo City Hall, ORT faculty members gave presentations on digital security.
On Wednesday, August 14, Alejandro Bianchi, president of Liveware Argentina and a faculty member at Universidad ORT Uruguay, spoke in the Blue Room on “What Organizational Knowledge Is and How to Protect It: A Strategy for Implementing KM.”
On Thursday, August 15, Silvia Nocella, IT planning manager at Banco República, presented the lecture “Social Engineering: A Threat to IT Security?” in the Blue Room.
Meanwhile, on Friday, August 16, Daniel Szabo, academic coordinator of computer science at the School of Technology and professor at Universidad ORT Uruguay, gave a presentation in the Golden Room on "Alternative Trends in Fault Tolerance for Web Services."
