Two ORT graduates are among the 1,800 Chevening scholars from around the world in 2019

Paula Mosera, a certified public accountant, and Fiorella Santo, who holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies, have been awarded Chevening scholarships by the British government. Both will travel to the United Kingdom, where they will pursue one-year master’s programs at two renowned universities: the London School of Economics and the University of Huddersfield.

Two graduates from Universidad ORT Uruguay for the United Kingdom in September, where they will pursue a one-year master’s degree with all expenses paid, after winning Chevening scholarships. They are Paula Mosera, a graduate of thePublic Accounting program, and Fiorella Santo,who holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies.

In Mosera’s case, she will pursue a master’s degree in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics. She explains that she chose this program because she has been working for several years at an organization dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs who want to develop their social enterprises. In addition, ever since her time as a student at ORT, she has been involved in various volunteer activities and social projects.

For her part, Santo, who holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies, will pursue a master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the University of Huddersfield, located in the city of the same name, 20 kilometers from Manchester. In her case, her interest in the field also stemmed from the fact that in recent years she has been working in the logistics and supply departments of multinational companies.
