Dual Degree Agreement Between Universidad ORT Uruguay Lincoln University

Universidad ORT Uruguay Lincoln University have signed an agreement regarding their undergraduate programs: the Bachelor of Arts in Management with a concentration in Agribusiness and the Bachelor of Commerce and Management in Agribusiness.

Lincoln University is one of New Zealand's most prestigious universities, with a long tradition in the country's agricultural and agribusiness sectors, and a history of cooperation with Uruguay.

Under this agreement, students in the Bachelor of Business Administration program, after completing their first two years at ORT, can spend one year at Lincoln University and then complete their fourth year with a focus on agribusiness at ORT.

In this way, they earn two college degrees:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Agribusiness from ORT;
  • Bachelor of Commerce and Management in Agribusiness from Lincoln University.

The Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Agribusiness focuses on the professional management of companies engaged in agricultural production.

The program examines the specific characteristics of production processes for organic goods, as well as the roles played and interests represented by the various stakeholders throughout the agro-industrial and commercial chain in Uruguay and around the world.
