
The training program will begin with an opening seminar designed to identify environmental and production challenges, explore opportunities in the green economy, and co-create solutions through entrepreneurship.
Among the announced participants are Mariana Félix (De La Gata Surf) and Fabricia Méndez (Eco Deporte Circular). Also speaking will be Enrique Topolansky, MBA, director of the CIE, and Gonzalo Sobral, MBA, a professor at Universidad ORT Uruguay the program’s academic director.
Following the seminar, a 40-hour workshop will be held, focusing on sustainable business management, digital transformation in entrepreneurship, impact measurement, the circular economy, and project communication.
The course, which begins on March 4 and ends on May 18, will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. online via Zoom. The program also includes personalized mentoring to support the design and validation of a sustainable business model.
Eco Emprendedores is part of a CIE initiative that supports projects focused on sustainability and the circular economy. Among the startups incubated or supported by the center are projects aimed at reuse and responsible consumption, including:TripWip,BioGuardians, Ozono, Oruvital, and ActiveBio Solutions.
The opening of registration is part of Universidad ORT Uruguay institutional approach, which integrates sustainability across all aspects of education, research, and community outreach.
