The call for submissions to Cuadernos de Investigación Educativa. Although articles are compiled twice a year and published in a biannual issue, submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis through thejournal’s platform.
Since December 2022, *Cuadernos de Investigación Educativa* has been a continuously published journal. In other words, all accepted articles are posted on the website immediately—as soon as the layout and proofreading process is complete—so that they can be viewed and cited quickly.
The journal currently accepts and publishes original articles in Spanish and English that address a variety of educational contexts and levels, including:
- Contributions based on research projects, supported by empirical evidence, that present relevant and noteworthy findings. *Cuadernos de Investigación Educativa* gives priority to this type of submission.
- Literature reviews that offer critical and reflective insights into developments in a specific topic.
To submit an article, interested parties must do so through the journal’s platform. To do this, they must first register or log in (if they already have an account).
*Cuadernos de Investigación Educativa* aims to foster academic debate and contribute to the dissemination of research in the field of education from a variety of theoretical and methodological perspectives.
The journal is published digitally and is open access. All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process in accordance with international standards. Furthermore, *Cuadernos de Investigación Educativa* does not charge any fees for the processing and publication of articles.
Published by the Institute of Education at the Universidad ORT Uruguay, for more than 25 years the journal has distinguished itself through its commitment to high-quality, cutting-edge research, as well as its contribution to the production of scholarly works relevant to informed debate and educational improvement.
