What did winning the league title mean to you?

Winning the championship was truly a great achievement; we’d been working all year to reach that goal, which, fortunately, we achieved. In my opinion, we went from strength to strength, refining the finer points of our game and gaining confidence, which was evident in the final stretch of the season. Although it was difficult, we managed to overcome the challenges and win the league.

How important is it to you to be the goalkeeper with the fewest goals allowed?

I'm really happy to be the goalkeeper with the fewest goals conceded in the league, and while it's an individual honor, it's really a reward for the team—because even though the goalkeeper is the last line of defense, all the work leading up to that and an excellent defense contributed greatly to this achievement.

On the other hand, this was my first year on the team and also my first year playing futsal after several years away from the game, and there’s no doubt that the camaraderie and trust they showed me from day one made me feel like one of the team—which really helped me personally to feel comfortable on the court.

How important is sports to you?

Sports are very important to me because they help me have fun, socialize, and de-stress, and they let me forget about the world for a while so I can focus on something I really enjoy. Thanks to sports at ORT, I’m meeting lots of people and making friends, which is something I truly value.
