On Tuesday, August 15, the three finalist projects for the second edition of the ORT School of Business and Social Sciences Business Challenge were announced.
The finalists are:
- SunPaint: a sustainable paint that addresses various environmental and health issues, such as pollution and air contamination. For example, it helps reduce the spread of surface-borne diseases.
- Pure Energy: gym equipment that generates energy from human movement; exercise bikes, treadmills, elliptical trainers, and more.
- CañaMeat: a hemp seed-based alternative to ground meat.
The goal of the Business Challenge is to test high school students' business and decision-making skills by having them solve a problem presented by the faculty.
The winning team will receive a 50% scholarship, allowing each member to pursue any degree program in the School of Business and Social Sciences. The winner will be announced on Friday, August 18.
