With an outstanding track record in the legal and academic fields, Dr. Landoni brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of higher education, backed by a master’s degree in Public Administration and Policy from Cornell University in the United States.
Previously, Dr. Landoni made significant contributions to Uruguay’s education and cultural sectors, serving as director general of the Secretariat of the Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as dean of the Young Men’s Christian Association University Institute (IUACJ) for nearly three years.
In his new role, he will oversee key areas such as regulatory affairs, library services, international relations, the Language Center, the Central Committee for Research and Scientific Production, and academic quality assurance systems.
With Dr. Landoni at the helm of the Office of the Provost, ORT reaffirms its commitment to educational quality, a cornerstone of our students’ development.
