In 2003, Damián began pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Management and Administration at ORT University. At the same time, he held various administrative positions. He also provided independent consulting services to small business owners. He currently owns the family business, d2 Administración y Proyectos.
As he mentioned, he wanted to study and work; so the option offered by ORT University to take classes in the morning or at night made it easy for him to adjust his schedule to fit his various activities.
"When I finished high school, I looked into my degree options and found that the Bachelor's Degree in Management and Administration is quite broad in terms of content and opens the door to a wide range of career paths," Damián said.
He believes that ORT’s facilities meet students’ expectations. He also notes that most of the faculty members are deeply committed to teaching and are dedicated to preparing students to navigate the current dynamics of any job market.
The student worked at several companies performing administrative tasks. He later provided consulting services to small businesses on a freelance basis. “Two years ago, I decided I wanted to strike out on my own. My brother (who is also pursuing his bachelor’s degree) and I decided to launch a family business. We founded d2 Administración y Proyectos, a company focused on supporting existing startups or entrepreneurs with ideas for specific projects,” he explained.
Damián highlights the kindness, willingness, and professionalism of both the staff at ORT and the personnel from outsourced service providers. He believes the university provides a solid foundation for entering the job market. He argues that work and study go hand in hand in achieving professional success. He hopes to pass his two remaining exams so he can graduate and devote himself fully to the family business.
