Eduardo Mangarelli, Ph.D., took office as the new dean of the School of Engineering

At a ceremony held on February 11, 2020, and in the presence of university officials, the new dean of the school was welcomed.

Mangarelli holds a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad ORT Uruguay. From 2002 to 2019, he held various leadership roles at Microsoft on a global scale, and for more than 20 years he has been part of our university as a professor and project advisor in the School of Engineering and the School of Business and Social Sciences.

During his long career at Microsoft, he served as Director of Innovation and New Technologies, Director of Innovation for Latin America, and, since 2017, as Global Director of Innovation and Engineering.
