The School of Communication and Design welcomed Talia Finn-Jakar, Powtoon’s Marketing and Business Development Manager from Israel.
“In a hyper-connected world, you have only eight seconds to capture your audience’s attention and begin conveying your message,” he noted.
"The brain," he said, "is stimulated in three ways: visually, auditorily, and emotionally. 'Video manages to combine these three elements and facilitates rapid and seamless learning,' he said."
Powtoon is a free platform—used by 96% of Fortune 500 companies—for creating animated videos and presentations, with over 58 million Powtoons generated worldwide. In Uruguay, it is available as part of the Plan Ceibal ICT toolkit.
Talia Finn-Jakar is the CMO of Powtoon. She previously headed the Social Media Department at Israel’s leading international public relations and online marketing agency, where she developed and implemented digital strategies for hundreds of companies. She has established successful partnerships with Microsoft, Kaltura, Facebook, YouTube, and others.
