"The study abroad semester was a turning point in my life"

Interview with Ilan Bajarlia, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Program in International Studies. Ilan spent a semester abroad at the University of Manchester, received a scholarship from the Botín Foundation, and currently directs the foundation’s Responsible Education program in Uruguay.

According to its website, the program aims to “identify the best university students in Ibero-America, train them, and help them create and strengthen a network of public servants committed to society.”

As a former fellow, he participated in the Creating Public Values program at Harvard University. He currently directs the Responsible Education program at the Botín Foundation in Uruguay.
