Academic Coordinator Dr. André Fonseca and Deputy Coordinator Mag. Mariana Derderian have set as their primary goal for the start of 2022 that the industry and academia sectors develop joint projects.
Consequently, professors Nicolás Cremona and Diego Sáez, in line with this approach, proposed that, as part of their Integrative Project 3 course, companies submit projects for students to develop over the course of the semester.

In this initial phase, the participating companies were: Smartway, Idatha, and Pronto Metal.
Students will have the company's support at all times to assist them as needed, whether it be with tools, infrastructure, information, or access to experts.
Some of the proposed topics were:
- Design a delivery robot for buildings that ensures the delivered items are always in the same position to prevent tipping over, etc., and that includes an arm to deliver the order. It must also feature a user-friendly interface.
- Causality: Analysis of variables that affect electricity generation.
- Tracking of trailers: knowing their location, route, etc. The challenge is that trailers have no power supply and can be attached to various tractors.
- 4G Rollout. Since has currently has that operate on 2G, and this network will no longer be used.
- Traceability in agricultural production. Remotely monitor the loading and unloading of tons in the hopper and generate reports.
- Data transmission in "dead zones." The challenge lies in transmitting vehicle data even when there is no signal.

For companies, this is an opportunity to launch new projects, explore new market niches, or develop prototypes that help them identify business opportunities.
Meanwhile, for students, it is an opportunity to work on real-world cases, learn about new tools, and connect with the industry.

In addition, all the companies left the door open for students to submit their résumés and for the companies to consider them when they enter the job market or look for a new job.
