At the meeting, the parties discussed matters related to academic collaboration projects covering areas of mutual interest. These projects include initiatives such as grants provided by the U.S. Embassy, internships arranged through its commercial section, and educational services or leadership programs for college students.
They also discussed ORT’s collaboration with U.S. universities on academic student exchange programs and student projects, as well as special short-term programs.
In addition to rector the ambassador, the meeting was attended by Eduardo Hipogrosso, Vice President for Institutional Management and Development; Dr. Pablo Landoni, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Dr. María Azpiroz, Director of International Relations, representing Universidad ORT Uruguay; and Jackie. Kruszewski, Deputy Counselor for Press, Education, and Culture at the U.S. Embassy in Uruguay; and Marcela Serra, from the embassy’s Press, Education, and Culture office.
