Interview with Pablo Pereira, a graduate of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Graduate School of Business at Universidad ORT Uruguay, who was a finalist for the 2019 AMBA Entrepreneurial Venture Award (Private Sector) for his startup Armor Bionics. It was the first time a Uruguayan had received this distinction.
Armor Bionics, a startup founded by Pereira and Bruno Demuro, optimizes surgical planning by providing 3D physical models of patients’ anatomical conditions. Each year, the international accrediting body AMBA celebrates excellence and leadership in business education among accredited schools and their students and graduates. One of the ceremony’s most distinguished awards is the MBA Entrepreneurial Venture Award, created by AMBA to foster and promote entrepreneurship among students at top business schools.
