Entrepreneur ranked among the world's top 100 fintech leaders

Ximena Aleman, a graduate of the Bachelor’s program in Journalism and a senior student in ORT’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, ranked 91st among the top 100 global fintech leaders, according to the ranking published by Fintech magazine (Top 100 Leaders 2022, published in October 2022), which highlights leaders in the industry that bridges the technology and finance sectors.

Aleman is the founder of Prometeo, an open banking company that connects financial institutions through its system. It operates in Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Panama, and Mexico.

For this venture, Aleman won the AMBA and BGA Entrepreneur of the Year Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the business world. AMBA is one of the world’s three leading business school accrediting bodies, of which ORT’s MBA program is a member. BGA is a membership and quality assurance organization for business schools that share a commitment to responsible management practices, lifelong learning, and a positive impact on their communities.
