A graduate startup won the award for best app in the Uruguayan tech industry

The Paganza app, led by Marcelo Lanfranconi, a graduate in Systems Engineering, along with Leonardo Vernazza, was recognized by the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology (CUTI) as the best app in the Uruguayan technology industry in 2017. The award ceremony took place on December 13, 2017, at the Club de los Industriales at LATU.

The Paganza app, created to provide a solution for paying monthly bills via mobile phone or the web, was incubated from the outset at theCenter for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) and developed with the aim of capitalizing on opportunities in the current Latin American market, particularly the growth of e-commerce and the existing barriers in payment methods.
