The awards ceremony, held on December 5, 2018, at the LATU Exhibitors' Club, was organized to recognize the contributions of companies, institutions, and individuals who help drive the development and growth of the country's ICT industry.
Awards were presented to companies and products in the following categories: Best Software Product, Most Innovative Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Best Exporting Company, and Industry Recognition.
MiCheque is a fintech company founded by Mónica Mesorio, a Certified Public Accountant who graduated from Universidad ORT Uruguay; Gonzalo Mesorio, an engineer who earned a degree in Systems Engineering from our university and an MBA from ESIC Business & Marketing School in Spain; Milton Rodríguez, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering; and Sebastián Pereira.
