Startups incubated at the CIE were approved by Semilla ANDE

On December 14, 2020, the startups ABtesting, eLook, and Soy—which are incubated at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Universidad ORT Uruguay—were accepted by Semilla ANDE to develop and finance their projects.

The National Development Agency’s Semilla ANDE program aims to launch or strengthen ventures, products, services, processes, or marketing strategies that offer unique value, have strong growth potential, create jobs, and are business ideas that have been validated in the market.

ABtesting is a platform that automates the A/B testing process for a website using artificial intelligence technologies. Founders: Gonzalo Mordecki De Boni, a student in the Bachelor of Communication program with a focus on Advertising and Marketing at Universidad ORT Uruguay, along with Rodrigo Stecanella and Ismael Martínez.

Soy is a digital tool that enables amateur soccer players and organizations to address the lack of video content needed to showcase, promote, and analyze their performance—in a simple, tech-driven, and cost-effective way. Founders: Rodrigo Greising, a systems engineering student at Universidad ORT Uruguay, along with Guillermo Rodríguez and Marcos Correa.

eLook is Uruguay's largest digital platform connecting supply and demand in the beauty and health industry. Founders: Maximiliano Rehermann and Hernán González.
