A student and graduate-run company ranked among the top 5 startups in the 2011 Intel Latin America Challenge

Kidbox, a company founded by Martín Larre, a marketing analyst student, and Alan Kind, a graduate in web design, was named one of the top five Latin American startups in the 2011 Intel Latin America Challenge.

Kidbox offers a web service for children, specifically designed for Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking families.

It is a browser that allows children to browse the web safely and independently.

The developers have worked for brands such as Disney, Discovery Kids, Longman Pearson, and One Laptop per Child, among others.

This startup won third place in the 2010Venture Day Iberoamericano + R competition organized by the university, which led to their connection with the National Agency for Research and Innovation and secured funding to develop the project. They also received support from the Fondo Emprender.
